Woven by Hand

At Kandla Container Terminal, a large tapestry handwoven by local women weavers brings the story of port operations to life, in thread. Capturing the terminal's full landscape, the piece maps out cranes, containers, vessels, roads and everything in between using embroidery and patchwork techniques. Created in partnership with local women weavers, the art piece hangs proudly at the terminal. Artwork that maps the DNA of what we do best.
